Western Zone Championships

USA Swimming is divided into four Zones, Eastern, Southern, Central and Western. Alaska Swimming, Arizona Swimming, Central California Swimming, Colorado Swimming, Hawaii Swimming, Inland Empire, Montana Swimming, New Mexico Swimming, Pacific Northwest Swimming, Pacific Swimming, San Diego Imperial Swimming, Sierra Nevada Swimming, Snake River Swimming, Southern California Swimming, Utah Swimming, and Wyoming Swimming all make up the Western Zone.

Each Zone has their own set of championship meets. The Western Zone hosts one championship meet in August. This meet is an All-Star style meet, meaning Oregon sends a single team comprised of swimmers from around the LSC. Swimmers must meet the qualifying time standard, set by the LSC and submit an application. Oregon Swimming elects to send only swimmers 11 to 18 years of age to the meet.
